The world of Ancipsei shares different variations of a creationist myth revolving around its two major continents-Ventyr and Oricant. The story goes that the two continents were once one, but a cataclysmic battle between celestial and abyssal forces caused a fracture that split the land mass into two, imbuing each side with life. Two beasts were created to fight for either side, representing chaos and order. After the battle ended, the beasts fell into a deep slumber, and the various races were allowed to resume life un-tormented by the conflict. This is where your adventure begins.
